Amcor Division InFlex Expanding Operations in Georgia
InFlex, a division of Amcor, is expanding operations in Georgia
Amcor, Inc., headquartered in Thomson, Georgia, is a global leader in packaging with almost 160 years of growth in the market. The company is expanding its InFlex manufacturing operations to Alma, Georgia. The new 85,500-square-foot facility will employ 100 people and produce high-strength, lightweight polymer products for use in the packaging, automotive, and construction industries. Amcor’s new $8 million facility is expected to open by the end of 2021.

Pregis Building New Film Extrusion Facility in South Carolina
Pregis is building a new film extrusion facility in South Carolina
Pregis, a protective packaging provider, is building a new, state-of-the-art blown film extrusion facility in South Carolina. The $80 million facility in Anderson will be 168,000 square feet and produce engineered films used in packaging for the food, consumer goods, and medical device markets. The plant is expected to create 120 new jobs and will open in September 2021.
Kevin Baudhuin, president and CEO of Pregis, said, “We believe that this new facility will be the most technologically advanced extrusion facility in North America.
